Welcome Screen
The Welcome Screen is the first impression your respondents will have of your survey. Use it to introduce the topic, set expectations, and create engagement.
You can add a Welcome Screen either from the Welcome → Form → Thank You tabs above your survey builder or by clicking + Add New Question and selecting Welcome Screen from the list.
Features
- Formatting options: Apply bold, italics, underline, headings (H1–H3), bullet/numbered lists, links, and text alignment.
- Button customization: You can change the Proceed Button text to something contextual like “Start,” “Let’s go,” or “Begin Survey.”
- Keyboard support: Pressing Enter ↵ also triggers the proceed button.
Best Practices
- Keep it brief: Use a short and clear title and a subheading that communicates purpose.
- Set context: Tell users what the survey is about and how long it may take.
- Add branding: Use brand language and tone to make it familiar.
💡 Tip: A strong Welcome Screen improves response rate by aligning expectations early.
