File Upload
The File Upload question type allows respondents to upload a file directly to your survey. This is useful when collecting proof of purchase, feedback screenshots, product images, videos, or supporting documents.
Respondents can upload one file per question. You can customize the accepted file types and the maximum file size to match your requirements.
Ideal Use Cases
- Collect product images for customer research
- Ask users to upload bill receipts or store photos
- Gather documents or IDs for verification
- Let users record video feedback or voice notes
Configuration Options
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Mandatory | Make the file upload required to proceed. |
| File Upload Text | Customize the button text (default: "Choose File"). |
| Allowed File Types | Limit accepted file types such as jpg, png, pdf, mp4, etc. |
| Max File Size | Specify the upload size limit in kilobytes (default is 20480 KB, i.e., 20MB). |
| Proceed Button Text | Change the button label on the survey (default: "Next"). |
Supported File Types
PollPe supports uploading:
- Images: jpg, jpeg, png
- Videos: mp4
- Documents: pdf, doc, docx, ppt, pptx, xls, xlsx, csv
Note: You can allow multiple file types by selecting them from the dropdown or keep it blank to allow all file types.
Respondent Preview
Respondents will see a drag-and-drop interface or can tap to upload a file.
