The Date question type lets you collect structured information in day, month, and year format — useful for capturing birth dates, visit timelines, experience durations, or any time-based response.

When to Use

Use a Date field when you want users to input:

  • Date of birth
  • Last purchase date
  • Event attendance date
  • Timeline of a customer journey

Customizing the Date Question

When you select "Date" from the content type list:

  • You can add a label and optional description
  • You can use basic formatting options like bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, and links within the label and description.
  • Set the question as mandatory or optional
  • Choose a date format:
    • DDMMYYYY
    • MMDDYYYY
    • YYYYMMDD

Respondent Experience

Respondents will see separate fields for:

  • Day (DD)
  • Month (MM)
  • Year (YYYY)

The layout ensures clarity and uniform data input across responses.

Additional Settings

  • You can customize the proceed button label (e.g., "Next", "Continue", "Submit")
