Multiple Choice

The Multiple Choice question type allows users to choose more than one option. It’s perfect when your question permits multiple answers — such as brand awareness, preferences, or habits.

Multiple Choice Question Example

When to Use

Use this type when:

  • You want users to select all that apply
  • Your options aren’t mutually exclusive
  • You want to track recognition or awareness across items
  • You want to allow an “Other” field as a write-in

Customization Options

When setting up a Multiple Choice question, you can:

  • Set the question label and an optional description
  • Add as many answer choices as you like
  • Choose how many responses can be selected using Multiple Selection:
    • Unlimited: Respondents can select any number of options
    • Exact Number: Force users to select a specific number of options
    • Range: Set a minimum and maximum selection limit
  • Set the question as Mandatory
  • Allow Other (custom input)
  • Shuffle the order of choices
