The Heatmap question type lets respondents interact with an image by clicking or drawing on it. It's a visual feedback tool used in UX research, packaging design testing, and any scenario where spatial feedback matters.

When to Use

  • UX click testing — find out where users expect buttons, links, or navigation.
  • Packaging design — test which areas of a product package draw attention.
  • Ad creative testing — identify which parts of an advertisement resonate.
  • Store layout feedback — mark preferred areas on a floor plan.

Respondent Preview

Respondents see the uploaded image and can click on it (in click mode) or draw on it (in draw mode). Each click places a visible marker on the image.

Tip: Upload high-resolution images for best results. The image should be clear enough that respondents can identify specific areas to click or draw on.
