Create a reward pool
To create a reward pool, open your survey's Share tab, set how many responses you expect, pick a brand and amount, apply your PollPe Credits if you want, and pay the total. The pool goes live the moment the survey is published.
Before you start
- You need to be on a paid plan (Individual, Team, or Enterprise). The reward respondents banner is gated on subscription.
- You need PollPe Credits or a working payment method. Credits cover the pool first; the remainder goes through the payment flow.
- Publish your survey before you switch the pool Live. The status select will not flip to Live on an unpublished form.
Step 1: Open the reward respondents flow
- Open your survey from the dashboard.
- Click the Share tab.
- In the left panel, click Share on your own.
- Scroll to the Reward Respondents card.
- Click Create a Reward Pool. The full-screen reward configuration opens.
If a pool already exists on this survey, the same card shows Manage Reward Pool instead, which jumps you to the Manage Rewards Pool view.
Step 2: Set how many responses you are expecting
The first section is How many responses are you expecting?.
- Drag the slider, or type a number directly into the input.
- This is the total number of responses you are expecting on this survey, not the number you want to reward.
- Do not include paid responses from other channels.
The slider has fixed step marks (every 500), and the value is clamped between the minimum and maximum allowed for your plan.
Step 3: Choose how many respondents to reward
The next section is How many respondents do you want to reward?.
You have two modes:
- Percentage: reward a percentage of the responses you set above. You can type a value, or pick a quick option (for example, 10%, 20%, 50%). The maximum is 100%.
- Fixed Number: reward a specific number of respondents, capped at the total expected responses.
PollPe shows a live preview below: Around <N> respondents will be rewarded.
Note: Only completed responses count. Respondents who quit partway through the survey are not rewarded.
Step 4: Pick a brand and reward value
The Select brand for rewards section shows the supported brands:
- Amazon Pay
- Zomato
- Myntra
- Flipkart
- Swiggy
- Google Play
Click a brand card. Each brand has its own list of supported reward values (for example, ₹10, ₹20, ₹50). Under Select reward value, pick one of the preset cards.
The right rail updates as you change inputs:
- You are creating shows the total pool amount: respondents to reward × reward per response.
- Estimated amount breaks down rewarded responses, reward per response, total, and the final payable amount.
Step 5: Apply PollPe Credits (optional)
In the Estimated amount card, you will see a Use PollPe Credits checkbox with your current balance.
- Tick the box to apply credits against the total. PollPe applies up to the full payable amount or your full credit balance, whichever is lower.
- The card shows the credit amount being deducted and the remaining payable amount in real time.
- If you do not have enough credits, the remaining balance is collected through the payment flow on the next step.
A note appears below the totals: if the reward credits for this survey are not fully utilised, they will be automatically refunded to PollPe Credits after the survey ends.
Step 6: Proceed to checkout
Click Proceed to Checkout.
- If credits cover the full amount, PollPe creates the pool immediately and returns you to Manage Rewards Pool with a success confirmation.
- If a top-up is required, you are routed through the payment flow. After the payment lands, you come back to Manage Rewards Pool and see a Payment Success confirmation.
If the payment fails, you see a Payment Failed message and the pool is not created. You can retry from the same screen.
Step 7: Go live
After the pool is created, open the Manage Rewards Pool tab. Find the new pool card.
- In the Reward pool status dropdown, pick Live.
- If the survey is not published yet, the dropdown will not move to Live and you will see a prompt to publish the form first.
Once Live, PollPe starts paying out qualifying responses immediately.
Step 8: Pick which sources earn rewards
Open the pool card and click Linked sources. A Link reward pool to sources dialog opens.
- Toggle a source on to make responses from that source eligible for rewards.
- Toggle a source off to exclude that source from the pool.
- The Default Source is on by default, and you cannot disable it unless you have at least one other source toggled on.
- Reset to default restores the original source configuration for this pool.
This is how you keep paid responses scoped to the right campaigns (for example, only respondents from a specific email invite or QR code).
