Opinion Scale
Use the Opinion Scale question type to measure how respondents feel about a particular topic using a numeric scale, typically ranging from 0 to 10 (default is 1 to 10).
This question type is ideal for gauging:
- Customer satisfaction
- Product perception
- Experience evaluation
- Behavior intensity
Customization Options
In the builder, you can customize:
- Scale Range: Choose a scale (e.g. 1 to 5, 1 to 10 etc.)
- Left and Right Labels: Add descriptive labels like "Not at all satisfied" and "Very satisfied"
- Mandatory Setting: Decide if answering is required
- Button Text: Customize the next/submit button
Use Cases
- "How satisfied are you with your purchase experience?"
- "Rate your interest in trying this product again."
- "How would you rate your interest in exploring more features in our app?"
Best Practices
- Keep the question clear and specific.
- Use balanced scales (like 1-5 or 1-7).
- Add endpoint labels to help users understand the range.
- For measuring brand loyalty with a standardized 0–10 scale and segmented follow-ups, consider using the NPS (Net Promoter Score) question type instead.
