Basic Formatting

PollPe allows rich formatting support across different elements of a survey to help you highlight key information, improve readability, and add visual flair. You can style the following:

  • Question Labels
  • Descriptions
  • Content Types: Welcome, Thank You, and Section blocks

Supported Formatting Features​

You can format text using the following toolbar available directly inside the survey editor:

  • Bold
  • Italic
  • Underline
  • Strikethrough
  • Link (hyperlink text)
  • Text alignment (left, center, right, justify)
  • Heading levels (H1, H2, H3)
  • Text highlights (for emphasizing words)

Formatting for Question Labels & Descriptions​

While editing any question, you’ll see a formatting toolbar when you highlight text in the label or description. This allows you to make parts of your question bold, add emphasis with italic/underline, insert hyperlinks (e.g. to terms & conditions), or adjust text size via headings.

Formatting in Welcome, Thank You, and Section Screens​

For all non-question content types (like Welcome, Thank You, or Section), the same rich formatting toolbar is available to style your headers, taglines, or messages. This helps you:

  • Emphasize calls-to-action
  • Make survey intros engaging
  • Add legally required links
  • Organize transitions between question blocks

Tip: These screens support headings, highlights, bullet points, and links, just like question labels.
